PerfoMetrix vs GTmetrix
GTmetrix is a well-known page speed testing and monitoring service, used by developers, agencies and site owners. Its paid plans add test locations, monitored pages, hourly monitoring, an API and an MCP server.
PerfoMetrix runs one report that covers speed (Google Lighthouse and real-user Chrome data), passive security checks, SEO, AI readiness and signs of malware, with a plain-English fix for every issue. Here is how the two compare, using GTmetrix’s own pricing page.

Questions
Does PerfoMetrix use the same performance data as GTmetrix?
Both build on Google Lighthouse. PerfoMetrix runs it through Google PageSpeed Insights on a mobile profile (desktop too on paid plans) and adds real-user Chrome UX Report data when Google has enough visits for the page.
Can I use both?
Yes. Many teams use a speed specialist for multi-location tests and PerfoMetrix for the wider health check: security headers, certificates, email records, SEO and malware signs.
